The need for personal financial planning services has never been greater. Longer life expectancies, spending demands, and income taxes are just some of the concerns faced by our clients. The overall goal is not to outlive your resources, and the emphasis is generally on managing that risk. We believe that everyone needs a financial plan and that all financial decisions should be made within the context of that planning framework. CFI manages investment assets and prepares income tax returns for over 1,000 families.
Our people are our most important asset. Our employees are CPAs and investment professionals with advanced degrees and financial planning specific credentials including PFS, CFP® and CIMA®. We continue to make considerable investments in systems and technology. The integration of people, process, and technology has kept us on the forefront of the wealth management profession.
We are very fortunate to be able to live and work in the Newport County area. We support over 60 nonprofit organizations, mostly local, both financially and as volunteers. We also have a very active internship program. Every year we employ interns to support our planning and investment teams. These interns come from local families or are attending Rhode Island universities.
